Felix the Dachshund and World Traveler (And His Feline Friend Lilly)

March 09, 2015 0 Comments

Felix has been a part of our family since he was 12 weeks old. He's lived in 3 countries so he's been on a few adventures. His first year he lived in Denmark where he enjoyed the parks, beaches, going on busses and trains to visit family. He was even a mascot at a soccer tournament for one of the teams :) His family then moved to England and we went on a 24 hour adventure to get there and Felix was for the first time on a ferry! They spent almost 4 years in Manchester and it was here Felix became a big brother to our cat Lily. The two of them get a long (most of the time) and Felix has introduced Lily to the world.
In 2012 we moved to Vancouver, Canada and Felix and Lily went on their first plane. I'm not sure who was most nervous, me or them! They both did so well and they are now enjoying Canadian life.
Felix is a stubborn and cheeky dog but most importantly happy and enjoys life. He's however a reactive dog so we are always careful not for him to get too stressed out when out and about. Lots of training and walks is helping him become aware that everything on wheels as well as big dogs aren't against him :)
Felix is now running his own blog with the help of Lily. They have taken over Twitter and Facebook too. They would love for you to come by and say hi :)

Here is our reflection on 2017, and a look where we want to go in 2018.
