Xena - Looking for a home through Boxer Rescue Ontario

Every 10th Dog of The Day will feature a dog that is available from a rescue group. Until the end of March 2015, we're partnering with Boxer Rescue Ontario to share some of the beautiful dogs that are available. Xena is currently looking for her furever home.

Age:  4 to 5 years old

Sex:  Female, spayed

Dogs:  No

Cats:  No

Children:  10 years and older; not good with small children

Crate: Yes

Housebroken:  Yes

Location:  Toronto, ON

Fee:  $400.00

Xena has just come into our program due  to the fact that her family is expecting and  she is not comfortable around little people.  Xena is a very loving dog who is a passive lovely pet in the home.  She however is working on her leash manners and shows aggression to other dogs and therefore will be adopted to a home where she can enjoy being the only pet.  She loves car rides and gets very excited and is a good girl at the vets.  She is a sensitive girl and can be skittish at times so needs a little help with her confidence.  She is crate trained and is happy to go sleep in her crate on her own with the door open.  This beautiful girl is looking for her furever home and someone to love her and give her the attention and exercise she needs.  Xena is now accepting applications.
